Frasers Property UK has signed global confectionary company Storck - which is behind Werther's Originals among other sweets - for an offices relocation to Chineham Business Park in Basingstoke.
Storck, which is behind brands including Werther’s Originals, Toffifee and Bendick’s, is joining Lumen Technologies, Exertis, TechData and Vyaire at the park, having taken 4,932 square feet in the Forest View building, on a 10-year lease.
Previously based in nearby Basing View, Storck has upgraded and expanded its HQ.
Rupert Batho, commercial director at Frasers Property UK, said Storck's move represents a broader trend of demand coming from companies already based in the region, seeking to upgrade the quality of their space and improve the workplace offer for staff.
"Being able to move into high-quality offices with plenty of natural light as well as views of, and access to, open and green space, enable those businesses to align their property holdings to a greater ESG focus.”
Andy Mutton, managing director for Storck, UK and Global Travel Retail, said the company wanted a modern office space that "not only had all the amenities we need within the building to work productively, but also green surroundings – something which many of our staff don’t have access to working from home".
