Hollis Hockley have announced that Michael Rowlands will be joining to lead their business space investment advisory offering in the South East. Rowlands is a key strategic hire for the partnership as it continues to grow its presence in the South East market.
Rowlands is a former equity partner at Strutt & Parker and head of national markets at BNP Paribas Real Estate. He brings with him significant cross sector investment experience and has advised on high profile transactions for clients such as Legal & General, Frasers Property, Columbia Threadneedle, Oaktree Capital, Patrizia and Ares amongst others.
Rowlands joins existing Partners Neil Hockley, Rhodri Shaw, Chris Barrs and Jeremy Metcalfe as well as recent hires Alice Hilliard and Natasha Ryan.

In October 2019, Barrs, Shaw and Metcalfe joined Neil Hockley at Hollis Hockley to spearhead an expansion of the Partnership. Since then Hollis Hockley has opened a Reading office and been appointed on over 1 million sq ft of high profile leasing instructions across the western corridor, including the Frasers Property Southern Estates Business Park portfolio.
Hollis Hockley have also been involved in some of the largest lettings in the Thames Valley in the last 6 months including the 42,000 sq ft letting of 8 Arlington Square West in Bracknell to Eli Lilly, 12,500 sq ft at 1330 Arlington Business Park in Reading to a confidential tech company and 81,000 sq ft of lettings to various occupiers at Ascent on Farnborough Aerospace Centre.
