Spectro Oil relocation fuels interesting redevelopment or owner occupier opportunity in Odiham
5 January 2015
Following the relocation of Spectro Oil to new premises at Hatchwood Place Odiham, a rare opportunity to acquire two office buildings totalling 8,327 sq ft on a 0.7 acre site located just off the High Street, Odiham with redevelopment potential has arisen.
Hollis Hockley have announced the availability of these buildings and the marketing campaign will commence in earnest in 2015. The site, currently comprising two office buildings of 3,550 sq ft and 4, 777 sq ft has the benefit of 50 on site car spaces and is located adjacent to the historic Cross Barn believed to be Hampshire's oldest brick barn dating from 1532.
Andrew Newman of marketing agents Hollis Hockley said "It is a very rare occasion when one is able to offer such a substantial site off Odiham High Street, offering both existing opportunities to owner occupiers and redevelopment opportunities for the residential development sector. Neither building is listed although the site is located in a Conservation area. The current guide price is £1.75m plus and we anticipate keen interest in the opportunity and will be looking to invite best bids on a "subject to contract" only basis on or before mid February 2015".
David Glass, Managing Director of Spectro Oil said "Whilst we are sorry to leave our long established home at Palace Gate which has been a real attraction for both staff and clients alike, the firm are now moving to Hatchwood Place which we purchased in early 2012 and have invested significant sums since in refurbishment and expansion space. We look forward to continuing our long standing relationship with Odiham from Hatchwood Place".
