Further letting activity at the Loddon Centre in Basingstoke

Having launched the remarketing of The Loddon Centre at "TLC" in Basingstoke a year ago, Hermes Real Estate is now reporting the fourth letting on the estate.
"TLC" as it is now branded, occupies an established industrial/warehouse location in Wade Road to the east of the town, only 1.6 miles from junction 6 of the M3 motorway. The scheme totals 113,000 sq ft and Hermes Real Estate appointed Hollis Hockley as part of their joint agency team last year to manage new lettings at the site.
Lettings were reported earlier this year to Testbourne Ltd and VPG Ltd and have now been followed with deals to Cotton Graphics Ltd and Anglian Windows Ltd. Rents of £7.00 - £7.25 per sq ft have again been achieved.
Cotton Graphics will occupy Unit E of 5,080 sq ft by way of a new five year lease. They are specialists in embroidery work and have doubled the size of their premises with their move into TLC.
National home improvements firm, Anglian Windows, has leased Unit G, comprising 11,544 sq ft by way of a 10 year lease. They are relocating their local branch from the nearby Kingsland Business Park.
Both of the recent lettings proceeded with the Tenants being granted an attractive incentive package.
Hollis Hockley are continuing to promote other units from 11,130 sq ft up to 36,300 sq ft. The new website, www.theloddoncentre.co.uk provides further information.
